Stories of memory, loss, and healing from Kashmir

Healing

Just as trauma can be stored in our bodies, our collective histories hold memories of separation, loss, and shared experiences that continue to shape our present. This powerful session brings together a panel of Kashmiri Hindus and Muslims who are willing to speak from the heart—sharing lived experiences, asking difficult questions, and listening to one another in the spirit of dignity and dialogue.

This episode is not a debate. It is a space for courageous storytelling, mutual recognition, and beginning to imagine what healing might look like across historical divides.

Discover how authentic dialogue can:

  • Bridge understanding across communities through lived experiences
  • Create space for mutual recognition and dignity
  • Transform historical wounds into pathways for healing
  • Support collective consciousness and reconciliation
  • Honor both memory and the possibility of renewal

Through honest conversation, deep listening, and the courage to be vulnerable, we explore how personal journeys intersect with community healing and Kashmir’s complex past and future.

Panelists: Namrata Wakhloo, Dr Amit Wanchoo, Sheikh Inayat Ullah, and Muheet Mehraj. Moderated by: Nilima Bhat and Anil Srivatsa Hosts of TRW Dialogues Podcast, committed to creating brave spaces for transformative conversations that bridge divides and foster understanding.
