Amy Howton

amy j howton is a healer, facilitator, and author. she co-authored with Quanita Roberson, the recently published book, The InnerGround Railroad: A 40 Day Journey to Remembering Soul and Spirit. for the past twenty-five years, her work has focused on the areas of trauma response, social justice, spiritual leadership, and communal healing. amy has taught at the university-level and practiced in various contexts including higher education, community-based nonprofits, and faith-based institutions working with individuals, organizations, and in network-building. amy holds an MA in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a doctorate in Ecological Counseling.
